What is HomeworkRepublic?

HomeworkRepublic is designed to help students and parents locate, deliver and complete English homework tasks. Each Year group and each week have a sequence of homework tasks allocated to them to be accomplished in order. The tasks are not there to be selected but to be worked through in sequence, since later tasks rely upon the completion of earlier tasks. To recognise the fact that some students work through homework tasks at different speeds and some parents wish homework to be differentiated in terms of amount  and degree of challenge, more homework is detailed on HomeworkRepublic for each week than the average student has allocated time to complete. For the best levels of progress, the interest of parents should extend beyond the fact that their children are doing homework or the amount accomplished: away from the classroom, where help can be requested with the raising of a hand, parents need to work with their children to ensure effort is maintained, regressive mistakes are challenged and the experience is seen to have value.
